L.A.S.E.R (Light Amplification Stimulated Emission of Radiations )

  There exist numerous types of medical laser which are used with a precise aim (laser colorant...) I have a CO2 laser which can be used in mode " fractioned " or in mode continous. In general, the mode " fractioned " is adapted to the rejuvenation of the face. It creates lesions of micro holes in the derm leaving intervals of healthy skin which avoids blemishes, burns and demarcations. 30% of skin is treated. Each lesion heals in 3-4 days causing a retensioning of the skin. We treat with 1, 2 or 3 sessions the fine wrinkles of the skin with the mode " stack ": we create lesions 2 or 5 times deeper and we treat the more pronounced wrinkles; as well, the laser creates a certain heat which favorises the production of new collagen and therefore improves the quality of the skin. We also treat " drooping jowls " and cause a fining of the grain of the skin. Acne can be treated and it's scars improved.

 The treatment can often be painful or unpleasant and it is recommended to use a local anaesthetic like the cream EMLA one hour before treatment. 2-4 days after the treatment blisters and /or bruises can appear and a local treatment is used with creams and antibiotics. Exposure to the sun should be avoided in the month following the treatment.

 The other mode of Laser C02, in continuous, we can treat cheloides scars, or some skin tumours or mucosa. We can also treat xanthelasma ( subcutaneous yellowish deposits ) with excellent results.

 The laser 's abrasive mode allows for the treatment of mucus lichens in the mouth.

 The contraindications are developing herpes; if susceptible it is preferable to carry out a preventive treatment with tablets several days before the laser treatment .

Results: A net rejuvenation of the skin which become visible after a month and last several years .The laser also treats blemishes, skin texture, scars and keloids .

Contraints : One may wish to avoid public outings for 4-8 days . It's necessary to protect against the sun and herpes.
