Surgeon Joelle Huth has treated thyroid nodules

with radio frequency.

 In an article in the SO of  09 /11 /2015  journalist Nancy Ladde writes .

On friday ENT specialist Dr Joelle Huth became the first surgeon to treat thyroid nodules using radio frequencies.

 The périgordine who practices at the Clinique du Parc in Périgueux was trained in this technique in Seoul, South Korea in the automn of 2014. Koreans don't want scars in this meridian so this treatment has been used there since 2002, explains the doctor, who has personally invested in the equipement neccessary to offer this treatment here. Aided by a probe and ultrasound surveillance.

 Dr Huth burns the tumour with high frequency waves.With this technique patients avoid scarring, time off work and post operative treatments.

 There are less risks than with a laser as we don't have to inject a sclerosing product or radioactive iodine, adds the Doctor.

One or more sessions may be required depending on the size of the tumour.

 Beauty is an abstract notion, linked to many aspects of our human existence, but with this common factor that it gives us a feeling of pleasure or satisfaction.

 The diversity of realities that one could describe as beautiful is considerable, landscapes, nature, living being, art… which gives each of us emotions in  contact with them. Beauty is the object of a selfless and free satisfaction, it addresses the mind, it is useless (Beaudelaire ) but imposes itself and we are not able to prove it.

 Beauty is everywhere, globalization, tourism promotes the triumph of beauty, it is an aestheticization of the world.

 It is since the appearance and democratization of mirrors in the Renaissance (which corresponds to the recognition of the individual as such) and in 1835 whith the invention of the silver mirror, that this individual search to please and be beautiful has appeared.  It should be noted that the mirror was dethroned by photos and selfies.

 Many philosophers have tried to define beauty: Socrates, Kant, Hume… the beauty of harmony and symmetry, the sensual beauty of beautiful hair or curves, the maternal beauty of the softness of a gaze, the ephemeral beauty of a flower… , but the psychological approach is also interesting and can be seen from the angle of attractiveness.
